Next, how to find leadership stocks by industry group using the Semiconductor group as a case study. Emerging long term trends can be identified with a trend scan and ranking by SCTR momentum. Stocks that have the characteristic of an uptrends in price and then ranked by SCTR are scanned for. This technique can be applied to all Sectors and Industry Groups. A selection of Semiconductor stocks that meet this leadership criteria have their charts evaluated.
