Power Charting with Bruce Fraser • 29m
Interest Rates have recently been rising at a rapid clip. Applying techniques, such as Point and Figure studies, estimates are made of how far U.S. Treasury Yields could rise. A historic Analog is considered of rising interest rates to stock prices. Point and Figure studies of Treasury yields, Treasury prices and high yield bond prices are evaluated.
Crude oil prices ($WTIC) are rising, which is a major inflation component. Point & Figure analysis of $WTIC is studied for estimates of how far prices could rise as inflation trends can put pressure on interest rates to rise.
Various stock indexes are evaluated for PnF price objective estimates. Finally intraday PnF charts are updated for the recent weakness in stock prices.
Symbols Discussed: $UST10Y, $UST, $TNX, HYLD, $WTIC,, $SPX, SPY, $INDU, $COMPQ, TSLA
