Top-Down Stock Selection | Bruce Fraser
Power Charting with Bruce Fraser • 41m
A Top Down stock selection strategy is discussed. Starting with a Wyckoff analysis of stock indexes for their present position and likely future direction. The next step is analysis of eleven Sector ETF's. From there Industry Groups are studied for their present position.
Rotation into the 2nd tier growth stock (in contrast to the ten, or so, dominant mega-cap stocks) segment is considered. The present position of the ARK Innovation ETF is evaluated as a proxy for these 2nd tier growth stocks. Then a Wyckoff style analysis of a sampling of the stocks in the ARK Fund are evaluated.
Also an update of the current position of the U.S. Dollar and the Transportation Stock ETF. The latest C.P.I. reading is evaluated with consideration of the impact on stock prices.
